Installous.

It’s an app you download from cydia to get pretty much any iPhone app for free.

So how can you get iPhone apps for Free?

1. JailBroken Phone Required
2. Open Cydia
3. In Cydia, go to “Manage”
4. Click on “Sources”, Then Click “Edit”
5. Click on “Add” in the upper Left Corner and add” http://cydia.hackulo.us”
6. Once you “Add Source”, Go to “Search” in Cydia
7. Search for “Installous” and Install it

How Hackulous, Installous, Appulous are related.

What we are essentially doing is adding a source to Cydia (Hackulous). This allows us to Grab Installous.

Once we have the Installous App we can now use that to search Appulous (“http://appulo.us”)

This is the place that hows an index of pretty much all the apps the Apple store offers.

Simply Select a version of an App and Install the program.

*Due to Appulous being overloaded, sometimes you will get an error connecting. They claim to be adding servers to alleviate this, but in the mean time just bare with it. Also to note is that some links on the sites that appulous sends you to are broken. Try others and you should be able to find a working app.

For Apps greater than 150meg, I would suggest “SSH’ing” them onto your phone. We will discuss in an upcoming How-to.
